A new hashtag on Twitter is raising eyebrows after it prompted a slew of comments about the president’s dress and hair.
The #TrumpPride hashtag has attracted more than 7,000 retweets and more than 1,000 likes since being launched on Monday.
It quickly became trending on Twitter.
On Monday, Trump tweeted that he wore a black dress and a white shirt with his name on it, according to his tweet.
“So proud of myself and my family.
My daughter wore the #TODAYWELCOME” he tweeted.
“We are a proud nation.
The press loves to use #TRUMPPANTES, but this is the truth.”
In the tweet, Trump also referred to the #Cape Fear riots that erupted after Trump declared himself the winner of the election.
The riots led to hundreds of deaths and injuries.
Trump also said that the rioters were “disgusted and hurt by my win, and they will never forgive me.”
He also said he wanted to thank “the very fine people” of New York and Washington, D.C., for their support.
